CACDP Level 2 Certificate in British Sign Language
This qualification is accredited by Signature (formerly known as CACDP) and will build on existing knowledge of BSL to expand vocabulary and help learners become more fluent in BSL.
The course is divided into three units and each unit is assessed separately. Unit 1 focuses on understanding BSL, Unit 2 focuses on learners' ability to produce BSL in a short presentation and Unit 3 focuses on interaction with another BSL user.
Themes for the course include: Everyday Conversation, Eating and Drinking, Spending and Shopping, Travel and Holidays.
Applicants should have passed Level 1 BSL recently to ensure the best foundation for progressing to Level 2.
This is a challenging course and successful learners will need to undertake personal study.
