BA (Hons) Drama*
Course Content
BA Drama is a one year singular Honours degree programme. The distinctiveness of the programme lies in the opportunity for students who have an HND or Foundation degree in the Performing Arts /Drama /Theatre with the knowledge, skills and understanding to achieve the BA (Hons) Drama.
- Contemporary Theatre Practice
- Acting for Performance Devising
- Television and Drama : Drama in the Community
- Contemporary Approaches to Shakespeare **
- Theatre Production and Research Skills
Entry Requirements
One year top-up programmes in Drama require a Higher National Diploma or Foundation Degree with the necessary pre-requisite skills and knowledge. The main criterion for entry is the students ability to complete the course successfully and therefore each student will be required to attend an interview. All applicants will be interviewed.
Study Mode
Full-Time.
Progression To
Post Graduate study at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Teacher Training college ( various ) PGCE awards.
Career Paths
Work in television, film, theatre and radio. Teaching in Schools and Colleges.
