Aim of Course:
Students will gain the essential skills and techniques required to install and support various Windows operating systems and PC hardware. On completion students will have an understanding of the basics of customer service and support; installing and configuring PC hardware and system components; the basics of peripherals and local area networking; customer service techniques; support and troubleshoot operating systems and applications

Course Content: PC components, O/S utilities, Optimisation and Preventative Maintenance, Laptop Maintenance and Repair, Printers and Scanners, WANs, Network Trouble-shooting, Security, Safety and Environment, Customer and Professional Issues

Entry Requirements:
4 standard grades or 5 modules or ECDL.

Study Mode:
Part-Time Evening.

Progression To:
CCNA, HNC or HND Technical Support
