Why not drive your education in the right direction this New Year, with training in Motor Vehicle at Reid Kerr College.  Starting January 2013, candidates with an interest in the Motor Vehicle industry can apply for a place on the City & Guilds Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ) in Automotive Vehicle Servicing & Repair Level 1.

Successful students Sheila-Anne, 18 from Glasgow and Derek, 23 from Renfrew have already completed their Level 1 and are now studying for a Level 2 at Reid Kerr College.  Derek said, “After passing my driving test I became interested in working with cars and the course seemed like a natural choice for me.  The training environment is really unique and has specialist training resources that give a good insight into a realistic working environment.  Sheila-Anne added, “My dad is an Auto Electrician and I have been brought up with cars since I was nine.  I always enjoyed learning with my dad and a full-time course in this subject is just perfect for me.”

The Institute of Construction & Engineering at Reid Kerr College recently celebrated the completion of a £4 million state of the art learning and teaching facility with Motor Vehicle embedded in its facility.  For more information about applying for a place on the City & Guilds Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ) in Automotive Vehicle Servicing & Repair Level 1 this January, please contact Student Services on 0800 052 7343 or log on to www.reidkerr.ac.uk
